Atlanta Real Wedding at Biltmore Atlanta – China and Lester

Posted in ellyb Real Weddings

We have been going through the archives to make sure we shared all of our events from last season.  Bare with us while we update you and continue to bring you all of our brides from this season as well.  China and Lester were married at the Biltmore Ballrooms here in Atlanta last September. The amazing Cathi Milanes captured these amazing images from the former Hotel Palomar all the way with the girls while they walked over to the ceremony.

We just loved how China used the color palette of magenta and aubergine to pull off her fabulous affair.

Guest Addressing Options: Angled Calligraphy

Nothing is more eye catching then when your guest receive your wedding invitation in the mail and the envelope is a different color then the normal white or ivory. Even if you opt to stay with the traditional white or ivory you can spruce things up a bit by using a different color ink or font.

We just love this angled invitation we found on pinterest. With the combination of the gray envelopes with the popping white ink, it is a sure way to catch your guests interest.

Fab Find: Drawer Knobs Place cards

Posted in Uncategorized

Those double hearts or silver place card frames could be so much more fabulous if we gave them a little thought. Gone are the days that we have to purchase items sold in bulk at the party store. Your event should be about creativity and showing personality. Think of the impossible and just DO IT. I just loved these DIY place card drawer knob holders found at the flea market. How adorable? Best of all it makes a STATEMENT!

Atlanta Real Wedding at the Evergreen Marriott – Ashley and Brian

Posted in ellyb Real Weddings

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of being the wedding planner for Ashley and Brian. The afternoon started with the ceremony on the deck of the Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort with the reception to follow inside. Ashley did a great job infusing her love of coral and blue throughout the wedding details.

So super impressed that Catherine from My Life Photo had the pictures up on her blog the following Monday. Truly amazing!
