Enter mason jar cookie mixes! The Mason Jar Cookie Company http://masonjarcookiecompany.com/ makes these amazing mixes that are completely customizable that you can order in either 4, 8 or 26 oz jars. M&M’s are a popular choice for an add-in as you can get them in your wedding colors to coordinate with your wedding. The Mason Jar Cookie Company also allows you to customize the mason jars by adding a custom jar lid label, custom theme the label and also add ribbon in your wedding colors. Summer Wedding Trend: Milkshake Bar

Posted in dessert, New Trends, Party Ideas, Sweet Ideas
Summertime is here and it’s the perfect time to get hitched. What’s a great wedding without a great reception?! With the frequent trend of dessert and candy bars, why not mix it up and surprise your guests with a treat to keep them cool, a milkshake bar!
Milkshakes are a dessert that everyone loves, especially with it being summer, it’s the perfect sweet treat to keep your guests cool and comfortable. There are so many cute ways to display and serve a milkshake bar. If you would like to have someone at the station serving and mixing up this cool treat for your guests, talk to your caterer-they will be happy to serve this treat at your reception. You could also have your caterer make the milkshakes in the onsite kitchen and then serve them as shooters in little shot glasses. Don’t forget to incorporate your wedding colors into your milkshake bar, either in the color of the ice cream or the toppings. Also, be sure to jazz up the bar with similar decor as the rest of your wedding, OR give your milkshake bar its own theme; retro 50’s ice cream parlor anyone?
