So there are often times that you just have to be overly excited for your fellow industry mates when they get married.  It is so awesome to see how they are on the opposite side of the big day!  I was so excited to learn that Melissa from Melissa Prosser Photography was getting married.  I was even more excited to learn how awesome her husband Bobby is! Just FABU!  We had a great time planning their Wizard of Oz Wedding theme without the theme being too much! Check out the awesome pics below by Project Duo.

Not only is Asha and Bryson featured in the current issue of The Knot Georgia, their honeymoon pictures were just released in the national issue of The Knot! WOOT WOOT. I was so excited to see their adventures in Italy! They planned their honeymoon down to a T and went through all of the historic sites and experienced the different wines that Italy has to offer.  P.S. I may have not mentioned how much into wine they truly are, check out their wine blog HERE!

They were also featured on Black Bride’s blog today, oh and it is Asha’s birthday!!! Happy birthday ASHA!!!!

Yup you heard that right! Jasmine and Trevor flew to Hawaii for their engagement pictures and a bit of R&R. See both Trevor and Jasmine are US Army Captains stationed in Afghanistan. Everyday I receive an email from Jasmine letting me know what is going on over there and how she is doing, and am always so proud of how she gushes about her soldiers and all of the ideas and awards that are presented to them to make their time over there a little bit more manageable.

They will be married here in Atlanta next June, and I cannot wait to officially meet them. Although I have threatened to go in their suitcase for one of their many travels! Thanks to Jenna at Creatrix Photography for the amazing images and taking such good care of my clients!

We are so excited to finally feature the images from Jessica and Sam’s big day.  Last year we planned a day that was perfect for just the two of them. We kept the decor simple, yet fashionable and all of the details flowed in just the amount of design that we wanted too.  We did the pops of orange and pinks but keeping the base color of champagne neutral in order to not have too much pink when the guests walked into the room! I think we did it!

Jessica and Sam were such a joy to work with! Each meeting we got a chance to know each other and we made sure that their personalities were represented throughout their wedding day. They were a picture perfect couple and I was honored to be their planner for their big day.

Soritza just has that bubbly spirit! Nothing can get her down and she is so warm and inviting that it has truly been a pleasure working with her and Robert in this very important journey!  Robert is just her teddy bear protector that makes sure she gets what she wants. I look forward to their big day next month, but until then you will have to check out their fab and innovative engagement session.  They decided to do it at Clark Atlanta University where they met. Smart right!

We started working with Malije and Onyeka from the very early stages of their wedding plans. The couple lives out of state so it has been fun to have our weekly conference calls to plan their big day!  Malije and Onyeka, never let the stress of being so far away get the best of them!  We picked their perfect venue, amazing photographer (Milanes Photography), a fabulous planner and a plan for their great decor and they knew everything will be alright.  I am so excited to see their vision that we have worked so hard on for over a year come to life! Of course I am always excited to see two families unite with tons of tradition!

Some people just light up the room every time they walk in.  These same people usually has this same vibe every time they email or call you. LaToya is just that girl! Always full of cheer, never know when she is down, and just wants the best for everyone around them.  I was so filled with joy when I saw her engagement pictures turned out just the way she wanted them, and I just love them!

The couple made sure to make their engagement their own and not the standard locations.  It is important to pick an engagement session location that means something to you.  If you are not a park person, stay clear of Piedmont Park!

On a beautiful Sunday in June, Natalie and Donnie were married at Ventanas.  Everything from the soloist singing Natalie down the aisle, to the fabulous vows recited by Donnie, added to the perfect day! The couple was surrounded by friends and loved ones and we made sure to include details that represented their travels, careers and just who they are as people!  We had fun working with two unique colors (Natalie loved purple and Donnie just had to have his red!), the end result is exactly what we imagined!
