It’s always an honor when we are asked by local media to design and plan an event for them. I mean let’s face it, they are exposed to the best of the best of our industry so they have to know the goods! The Atlantan Brides Magazine hosts a yearly event for their advertisers. It is a time for them to get come together, talk about the latest trends and connect with other vendors they possibly did not have a chance to meet before.
Since we were in Ruth Chris Steakhouse, I wanted to create an environment that was fresh and fun and definitely get them ready for spring time! Check out the images below from David Christen Photography!
By now there must be no confusion, we LOVE to party, and we use every opportunity we get to party! Alexis turned the big 3-0 and she turned to us to create a fun chic environment for her family and friends. It was great to see how we were able to use her uncommon color palette of lavender and red to achieve this look, we think we did a pretty nice job!
Tami is an industry blogging icon here in Atlanta. Imagine my surprise when she asked me to help her plan her birthday soiree!!! Tami is a veteran socialite in Atlanta and runs a top blog called Talking with Tami. Now you know we could not disappoint her as this lady has goes to million events a week! We had to make sure that not only her guests, but she was knocked off her feet as well! Take a look at the final design!

Thank you Tami for allowing us to be a special part of your big day. It was so great to see you and your friends and family have an awesome time!
This was one rehearsal dinner I may never forget! This was actually our first Sangeet and it was definitely all I thought it would be and more! Here is a sneak peek from Altmix Photography from Katie and Nikhil’s Sangeet at the Peachtree Club here in Atlanta! Stay tuned for more!!!!
So over the holidays, I stressed to my business partner, a.k.a my husband, about how important my clients are to me. Seriously each and everyone one of them are more like friends then actual clients. I love to sit down and laugh with them, hear all of their stories and share new ideas for restaurants and actually go out and try them!
How could I repay them for trusting me on the biggest day of their lives? How can I show them that they were just not another weekend to me? How can I show my existing clients that it is all about their planning experience and I want them to walk away with new great memories. Best of all how do I show potential clients I know how to throw a mean _ _ _ party and I would be the perfect planner for them?
Then my hubby figured it out. We will do just that. We will gather all of them in one room and force them to wine and dine with us. Better yet, we will do it Valentine’s Day weekend because we LOVE them, oh and we saved them from having to take their sweeties out for dinner.
I then reached out to some of my favorite vendors with this crazy idea and they all loved it! It was great because we shared so many mutual clients anyway. Just like that, the inaugural ellyB and Friends Client Appreciation Dinner was born.
So of course when I decided to do this I had no idea it was like planning my own wedding all over again. Yes I do this for a living but I was so nervous. I wanted to make sure everyone had a good time, met new friends, and of course DANCED. I am glad to say, everyone did and they still talk about it till this day with everyone they know.
Ok enough about all of that. Let me give you a sneak peek of what went down. This is just a teaser as we will have quite a few blog posts coming up in a few. Three Ring Media did this fabulous recap trailer. It is only a minute long but you can get the complete essence of the party!
I am a strong believer of only involving my brand with people and companies that I believe in. When I began conversing with Jackie the Publisher and Editor of Munaluchi Bridal I knew she was a rare gem. With her drive and realistic goals I know Munaluchi will be around for a very long time.
Jackie and Erowun (the creative director) wanted to come to town to meet all of the Atlanta Wedding Professionals and Brides who have proven to be great supporters of the publication. The ellyB team jumped at the opportunity to coordinate one of the most fabulous tweetups. Check out pics from the event from the uber talented Tracey Brown Photography:
Thank you very much to the most awesome style team!
We would love for you to join us as we help Munaluchi celebrate their third print issue. The event is free so please sign up fast as we would love to get to know all of the attendees! http://munaluchiatl.eventbrite.com/
