We hope that you had the most amazing Mother’s Day and if you are not a Mom, we hope you did something wonderful with all of the moms around you.

We wanted to share some exciting news. Our ellyB and Friends Client Appreciation Event was featured in the newest issue of Occasions Magazine which hit stands on May 1! It is an amazing issue so if you do not have a copy please make sure to grab it ASAP!

As guests entered the gallery they were greeted with fabulous paper decor by Lucky and Lovely with decals from ten23 designs that were used throughout the space.

The stationery set the tone for the event and contained the ellyB brand story.

The event is not complete without matching signature drinks!

If you know me you know I love a little bit of bling!

So I am a little backward in this post and decided to start with my desserts first. Hey I would eat my dessert first if I was given the option. So we decided to take a room in the gallery and turn it into our very own sweetshop. There was two full walls full of desserts that the guests were able to nibble on at their leisure.

Now on to the cocktail hour which I affectionately dubbed the pink room!

Proof of the Pudding and Endive did an amazing job with the food and presentation as they greeted our guests.

Now on to the blue room which was the main reception area.  Not only did the DJ get the crowd going with the sounds, but Belly Dancers came out to show everyone a few moves.

Other entertainment including the very fun Halo Booth as well as this cigar lounge hosted by Lashes and Mustashes. Let’s just say we had to go for the grooms a few times.

We cannot thank our AMAZING couples enough for coming out to celebrate with us. Our vendors did an amazing job with this event, and for that we are forever eternally grateful!

I am super excited about this event mainly because I have seen them happen in all other states and longed for it to happen locally.  I believe this will be a great event to gather ideas, shop for bride and bridal party jewelry, and some unique fashion finds. Oh and by the way, Atlanta Weddings knows how to throw a party!

I am always so amazed at the great job that Laura by Artstar does. Everything about her work seems timeless.  I guess what I love most about her photos is her attention to detail. Laura understands all of the hard work that planners and designers puts into creating or recreating a special moment. Of course we were giddy when she sent us these images from a recent Atlanta event.

All decor was done by the fabulous Event Design Group.

We had such a blast working with Heather Vreeland from Atlanta Occasions Magazine on this amazing event! Heather is so passionate for anything Twilight related, so it was so fun working with her to get things just right for not only this Eclipse premiere event, but a party to celebrate the one year anniversary of Atlanta Occasions Magazine.

For the decor we decided to go with all things red and black to emulate the cover of the Eclipse book. From the candy bar, canolis filled red filling, to the color coordinated popcorn bar!  All of the labels were either hand drawn with calligraphy or branded signs with the Eclipse font to tie everything in together.

As you may know earlier this month I assisted Project Runway alum Heidi Elnora exhibit her 2010 collection here in Atlanta. Ladies and Gents it was to DIE for!

Heidi decided to forego the traditional runway show for her preview and decided to pair a piece of art, gown and floral arrangement/vignette to showcase the new line. Also all fees collected that night went to the Make a Wish foundation for children. Heidi is the true definition of a southern belle.

Set in a modern art gallery, attendees were encouraged to move through the space, absorb the art and watch as live models showcases the new wedding dress designs. I am so excited Lindsay Mast from Sublime Photography has shared these images with us.
