Not only is Asha and Bryson featured in the current issue of The Knot Georgia, their honeymoon pictures were just released in the national issue of The Knot! WOOT WOOT. I was so excited to see their adventures in Italy! They planned their honeymoon down to a T and went through all of the historic sites and experienced the different wines that Italy has to offer.  P.S. I may have not mentioned how much into wine they truly are, check out their wine blog HERE!

They were also featured on Black Bride’s blog today, oh and it is Asha’s birthday!!! Happy birthday ASHA!!!!

We were so grateful to witness the marriage of Cori and Alex this past weekend in Savannah at the Mansion on Forsyth Park.  It was a very intimate wedding and they were surrounded by their loved ones.  Everyone enjoyed themselves as they spent the day basking in the love these two have to share with each other.

I wanted to share their engagement session before bringing you pics from their big day.  The couple took to the streets and shared some desserts while playing rock, paper and scissors. Too fun!

It was great working with Todd Baugh for the first time as well!

Yup you heard that right! Jasmine and Trevor flew to Hawaii for their engagement pictures and a bit of R&R. See both Trevor and Jasmine are US Army Captains stationed in Afghanistan. Everyday I receive an email from Jasmine letting me know what is going on over there and how she is doing, and am always so proud of how she gushes about her soldiers and all of the ideas and awards that are presented to them to make their time over there a little bit more manageable.

They will be married here in Atlanta next June, and I cannot wait to officially meet them. Although I have threatened to go in their suitcase for one of their many travels! Thanks to Jenna at Creatrix Photography for the amazing images and taking such good care of my clients!

Soritza just has that bubbly spirit! Nothing can get her down and she is so warm and inviting that it has truly been a pleasure working with her and Robert in this very important journey!  Robert is just her teddy bear protector that makes sure she gets what she wants. I look forward to their big day next month, but until then you will have to check out their fab and innovative engagement session.  They decided to do it at Clark Atlanta University where they met. Smart right!

So I know if I say I click with all of my brides you might think that I am just saying that. Nope really I do! There is something about each and everyone of them that makes me excited to know them or even just speak with them!  Kaitlin and I banter all day long via text message and it is one of the funniest times of my day!  Greg is just too awesome and literally just sits  back and let Kaitlin have the wedding of her dreams! Let me not get started on how connected I am with her mom, this post might go on too long!

Kaitlin and Greg are getting married in Macon in September and I cannot wait for you to see their wedding day (cliché I know, I say this about all of my clients, guess what, I actually mean it!). We started working with Malije and Onyeka from the very early stages of their wedding plans. The couple lives out of state so it has been fun to have our weekly conference calls to plan their big day!  Malije and Onyeka, never let the stress of being so far away get the best of them!  We picked their perfect venue, amazing photographer (Milanes Photography), a fabulous planner and a plan for their great decor and they knew everything will be alright.  I am so excited to see their vision that we have worked so hard on for over a year come to life! Of course I am always excited to see two families unite with tons of tradition!

From the moment I met with Lisa we just clicked!  In almost the year leading up to her wedding, all we did was laugh and design a wedding that was true to her and Eric’s personality. On a beautiful Sunday in June, Natalie and Donnie were married at Ventanas.  Everything from the soloist singing Natalie down the aisle, to the fabulous vows recited by Donnie, added to the perfect day! The couple was surrounded by friends and loved ones and we made sure to include details that represented their travels, careers and just who they are as people!  We had fun working with two unique colors (Natalie loved purple and Donnie just had to have his red!), the end result is exactly what we imagined! We are so excited for Julie and Aaron’s big day! They will be having their ceremony and reception at the amazing Reid Barn in Cumming, GA this spring. Julie is so sweet and kind and has so many amazing ideas to transform her venue into the most glamorous barn anyone has ever seen. Their engagement pictures really showcase what a fun loving couple they are and their umbrella prop pays homage to their first date which involved  the pouring rain! We can’t wait to see these two tie the knot!

I have been waiting to share this wedding with you guys for a while.  Every time I see these images they just make my heart smile.  I remember how Kia and her mom knew their vision and how much fun we had making all the decisions for the big day.  Every meeting never felt like work, it just felt like you were getting together with friends to create one special party!  I puffy heart them! 

We did not miss one details, from the letterpress invitations with the Atlanta skyline, to the decor and color brightening up Centennial Park for the ceremony, it was truly a fabulous day!
