YAY! This makes a great return from the holiday’s!  We are so excited when our couples get the publicity they deserve.  Alyssa and Brandon on fun, lovable and down to earth.  heir love and youthfulness showed in their engagement pictures shot by Adam of W.Scott Chester at the infamous King of Pops and other locales around Atlanta.

So I adore all of my couples for several reasons. I adore Alyssa because every time we meet by Georgia Tech she takes the time to explain to me what she is getting her doctorate degree in and does not mind when I just don’t get it!  I adore Brandon for his height! I know weird but every time I am around Brandon, he makes me feel like a midget every time because I am pretty sure he is over 7ft all.

I believe what I am most thankful for is that I have clients that are multi faceted. Everything from lawyers, to doctors to very talented graphic designers.  I wanted to take some time to introduce my wonderful bride Sheila and her company Sheila Mari Designs. She has an amazing collection on Etsy and does everything from weddings, to birthday parties.  I love her 2011 calendar, perfect for your desk!

I think the main reason why I get along with my clients so much is that they are just like me!  They step it up a notch and do things that have not been done before, yup we try and make our own trends.  I was so excited when my clients Kim and Joe shared their invitation mock up designed by Sandi Spells designs. The crossword puzzle was so fun and most importantly, so them! They are a perfect for couples that would rather not send save the dates with their pictures.

We are in full planning mode for Michelle and Sean’s big day in January.  We are creating a beautiful romantic night under the beautiful chandeliers in the grand ballroom at 200 Peachtree. 200 Peachtree is Atlanta’s premiere luxury reception venue (it is the old Macy’s building after all!) and I am so excited to have my wonderful couple experience the space.

We were truly honored and humbled to see our sweet couple Asha and Bryson featured on The Bride’s Cafe. Janie Medley runs one of the best wedding blogs full of eye candy and inspiration that I often refer too for my clients. It is truly humbling to see my very own clients on this site.  But with the fabulousness captured by Nadia D Photography of Asha and Byrson how could they not?

College sweethearts Asha and Bryson decided to do their engagement session in three location, Spellman campus, Morehouse campus and the High Museum here in Atlanta complete with a picnic on the campus. The key to a great shoot is too take your pictures in a place that actually means something to you. This will not only make you feel at ease but you will look back on your pictures 30 years from now and not feel like you chose a cheesy location that you had no connection too.

Their Atlanta Wedding will take place next April at Ventanas Atlanta and boy will it be filled with style and class.

Working with Jessica and Sam has been just that, FUN!  Each and every time we get together its a ball of laughs and promises to meet for dinner and drinks soon. They are the cutest couple that you can just tell how much they love each other just by being around them.  I was super excited to see their engagement pictures told the same exact story!

Amia and Korey were married on a beautiful day this past August.  The weather was perfect for our outdoor ceremony that took place on the gardens of Villa Christina. The girls wore a beautiful lilac shade while other parts of the ceremony and reception had various hues of purple.

As we gear up to welcome four new amazing couples into the ellyB family, we just had to share the recent love story of one of our latest couples Beth and Geoff’s wedding day.  Beth and Geoff were the epitome of grace and class and are definitely a wedding planner’s dream to work with.

Beth and Geoff were married in July with the ceremony at the beautiful Swan House Garden, cocktail hour in the Boxwood Gardens with the reception immediately following at the Atlanta History Center.  We cannot wait to share their photos with you that were taken by the talented Ella Rue Photography. Jeremy Doublestein and his team from Three Ring Media were not only awesome to work with, but their style of cinematography is just drop dead gorgeous. I love how the video spans over several days and not just the wedding day! You get to see the couples in two unique elements, one at ease and just being themselves and then again in the midst of joy and happiness as they are surrounded by their loved ones.  Take a look below at their wedding trailer as well as their love story.

We are just smitten with the engagement pictures of Amanda and Jason captured by the fabulous David Murray Weddings. The couple will be getting married this winter at the Piedmont Driving Club. We cannot wait to share their wedding day with you!

Amanda and Jason decided to hope into a vintage Porsche for their engagement session. What makes this picture even more memorable is that the couple will use the pictures silhouette on their wedding invitations!
