What makes any kind of interactive station ideal is that 60% of the time your guests have never seen anything like it before. Naturally when I saw this cookie bar on Project Wedding I knew I had to share with my readers. There are so many ways to take this idea and make it your own. Consider the following when creating your own cookie bar:
- Get together with your family and friends and bake cookies that have been passed down for generations
- Pick sweets that you share with your love ones, then share with your guests
- Visit a local shop that will be able to customize a new flavor that represent your new union

Loving this image that I found on my good friend Melissa from Masterpiece Weddings blog. It shows great potential of incorporating marshmallow’s at your event elegant and classy. I just think that anything that is placed in Apothecary jars just always looks stunning. Consider having these jars filled with marshmallow’s with a cup of heart chocolate or ready to be displayed in a s’mores bar!

The reason why we love interactive stations so much is because it gets your guests active and makes them feel that the event was really created all for them. I came across these images while looking for a new project.
You can get various flavors of cupcakes made, place them on a tower of your choice then provide a variety of flavors. Flavors can include sprinkles, chocolate shavings, sugar crystal, and the list goes on and on.
What kind of toppings would you include?

It is always a great idea to introduce new concepts at your event. After all who does not want an event that is considered memorable? Having interactive stations such as the various bars whether it is a mash potatoes, candy, popcorn or cereal bar, it is a great way to get your guests out of their seats and participate in the festivities.
When I came across these pictures from a s’mores bar that was done at a wedding, I thought how fun! Maybe you and your spouse are big campers, why not invite your guests to one of your favorite past times.

After your successful s’more bar, go a step further and send you guests home with their own s’mores kit that they can enjoy at home. I am all about edible favors since chances are your guests will likely eat them.

If you are a lover of all things Seafood like I am, I am sure you would appreciate seeing one of these displays at the next event you attend. In a seafood display (sometimes referred too as a seafood boat), you can usually find a wide assortment of fresh seafood choices such as: shrimp, oysters, clams, crab legs, whole lobsters, etc.

There are so many things you can do with the
apothecary jars being sold every where. If you are sure your crowd would not be interested in a candy bar or even a
popcorn bar, why not do an assortment of pretzels? There are so many options for you to decorate your pretzels. This would be a fun project for you and your bridal party or alone with your fiance. You could add
yogurt,
sprinkles, chocolate or your favorite candy such as
gummies to the mix. Here are some fun ideas of the different types of pretzels you could use;

Clients are constantly looking for ways to raise the bar for their guests and introduce things that they may have not seen at another event. We have seen our fair share of candy bars, now is the time to pick other favorite past time snacks for your guests. My great friend Latrice from
Bridal Opulence is doing a cereal and popcorn bar for her clients this year. Here are some pics and ideas on how you incorporate this idea as well.
There are tons of flavors such as:
Tangy Yellow Cheddar
Spicy Southwest Jalapeno
Nacho Cheese
Creamy Caramel
Tart Dill Pickle
Sour Cream and Onion
Green Apple
Creamy Ranch
Mellow White Cheddar
Salt and Vinegar
Italian Parmesan and Garlic
Traditional
Cherry
Bar-B-Que
Traditional Yummy Butter
As listed on Atlanta’s own Murphy Popcorn Store.

If you are having a pre-reception or buffet, why not add an interactive station? This will give your guests the opportunity to have an item, exactly the way they want it. A mashed potato bar can even used to wow your guests with the proper presentation. Here are some items that may be included but not limited to the bar:
Mashed potatoes that are served in a Martini glass. Your guests will have great fun filling their martini glasses and showing friends their potato creation. Your guests will make certain that each Martini glass is filled with a work of art. Mashed Idaho Potatoes & Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Assorted Toppings Butter, Chives, Sour Cream, Bacon Bits, Grated Cheese and Butter, Cinnamon Sugar & Toasted
