Here is another one of our 2010 weddings.  Last spring we were excited to work with Keisha and Carol for many reasons but we loved d their love of detail and vibrant color palette.  We took a neutral venue and added bursts of color that was inspired by the peacock color scheme.  With the use of turquoise feathers, fuchsia orchids, and a dab of bling, their wedding day was all they they imagined. Their wedding was held and the beautiful Greystone nestled in Piedmont Park here in Atlanta.

I am always so amazed at the great job that Laura by Artstar does. Everything about her work seems timeless.  I guess what I love most about her photos is her attention to detail. Laura understands all of the hard work that planners and designers puts into creating or recreating a special moment. Of course we were giddy when she sent us these images from a recent Atlanta event.

Since we enjoy the entire journey of our couple’s wedding, we always get excited when we see pictures from their engagement session. It gives them an opportunity to practice as well as relax in front of the camera. Here are some pictures taken by Melissa Hume of our wonderful couple Alberta and Chris around Piedmont Park here in Atlanta.

A few months ago I had the privilege of working along side Lara Casey and Emily Ayer from Bliss Event Group and Southern Weddings. The wedding took place over at Park Tavern by Piedmont Park. The bride and groom as well as the details were just to die for!  Melissa Schollaert did an amazing job with the images. It was such a pleasure to watch how the girls connected with their clients and guests. It was also great to spend additional time with my dear friends.

We are so giddy to receive the engagement pictures of Carol and Kesha from the talented photographer Amy Aragon. We are so excited for their spring commitment ceremony here in Atlanta at the Greystone.

I affectionately name all of my brides. I always pick a name that  sticks with me throughout the planning process and will remind me the things they cherish most. It is a name that we share that shows exactly who they are as individuals and how they will be on their wedding day. Carol and Kesha are my Serenity Brides. When I entered their home, there was such a calming and peaceful presence that was throughout the air that we will be replicating on their big day.  There will be heavy use of candles and other romantic elements for their guests to experience.
