Pictures from the NotWedding 2010 Atlanta

by Eliana on March 8, 2010

We just wanted to thank everyone that came out and supported the NotWedding. This year was a smashing success and it was all due to the vendors and brides that came out to soak up the inspiration. The vendors were able to create 30×30 environments so not only were you able to get a tablescape for inspiration, but also experience the entire space from ceremony to reception. There were also couples for each environment.

Here are some teaser images from the amazing Hollie Lytle.

Some of the top wedding and event vendors in Atlanta got together to and put together several tablescapes to be used in the current issue of Atlanta Occasions magazine.

We knew that we wanted to overall feel to be mod, seventies inspired but with tons of color popping out in all of the details.  We ended up with three wonderfully designed tables. Each with their own personality and feel against the Atlanta backdrop.

Inspiration Station: Sherbet Chic

There was a dedicated team of professionals to make the shoot happen.

Location: Ventanas Atlanta

Coordination: ellyB Events

Photography: Ben Vigil

Florals & Decor: Amy Osaba

Linens: I Do Linens

Cake/cupcakes: Sugarplum Visions

Tableware: Owen Lawrence / Bloomingdales

Hair & Makeup: Scoobie West, H.S. West Hair & Makeup

Invitations: Sandi Spells Designs

Wedding Dress(es): Priscilla of Boston

Rentals: Event Rentals Unlimited

Venue lighting: Active Production & Design

Photo assistant: John Ellis

Look at the view we had to work with. Simply breathtaking.

Stay tuned as I bring you additional press from this great magazine.

Tablescape we Adore

by Eliana on June 27, 2009

Sometimes you flip through a magazine and you can find the most inspiring tablescape or decor item. Here is an image that has had the most impact for me this week.

Around the table there are compliments of a plum chandelier, cranberry votives and table runner with matching glassware and decor. The use of texture is brought in with the ribbon tied around the flatware and feather accenting the bread dish. Everything screams cohesive.

2009 Trend Alert – Domed Pedastal Dishes

by Eliana on February 25, 2009

From the runways of the Special Event Show to the tablescape design challenges hosted by NACE, one item that was sure to be present in the design are domed pedstal dishes.

Adding much more than a way to serve your desert, these beauties can serve as the focal point to your event. In an array of colors and shapes and sizes, they can even be reused after the main event has taken place. Here are some of our faves.

Damask has been the “it” design this year. Here at ellyB, we can not get enough of it. One of the greatest ways to showcase the design is through tablescapes. We think these pictures will give some inspiration to all the fellow Damask fans out there. Enjoy!

Other ways to incorporate the theme:

Damask Aisle Runner: Mind Weiss

Table Numbers: White Aisle

Favor Tins: Wedding Things

The perfect lounge funiture and accessories:
