Interactive Stations – Apple Cider Bar

What a great compliment to any event that happens around the holidays.  Why not give your guests the option of creating their own version of the perfect apple cider. Create a fun table complete with a festive backdrop as guests mingle and try apple cider with different toppings and mixtures.

Interactive Station: Popsicle Bar

Living in Atlanta I can go for a popsicle at least once an hour.  I just love that popsicles have made their way to the entertaining world.  They are making a scene at weddings and showers or anything that have more than one person in attendance!

If you are having an outdoor cocktail hour or wedding, think about passing these out at the start of the event or even during the last hour while the dance floor is hot.  Head over to Green Wedding Shoes for some DIY instructions and recipes.

Don’t these mango strawberry mimosa pops look YUM???

Interactive Stations – Salsa Bar!

I think this is just the perfect idea for your shower or cocktail hour. Everyone loves a good dose of chips and salsa and why not even pair that with a margarita station.  If you are looking for a great way to keep things casual at your rehearsal dinner, this might be an even better idea for you!

TMRWEE2 – The Main Event

So now on to the big event.  Now it is time to show off this amazing event.  Still crappy photos, so please excuse but I wanted to show you goodness. The Most Ridiculous Wedding Event Ever 2, was held at the Bookbindery.  Wedding Pros had the chance to be inspired, hang with their peers as well as brides.

Check out all of these last minute emergency kit that Mindy as and her crew display in the suite for the bride and the bridesmaids just in case they forget or need anything. Totally love the idea.

Just love all of the use of all the lounge furniture, mirrors and unique centerpieces that were used throughout space.

Loved all of the HUGE balloons that were hung throughout the Bookbindery.

In my former life, you know that I had a thing for bling. Anything that involved bling and weddings, my name was all over it!

Did you see the ring paper clip? How clever!

All the flowers ready for the bouquet making contest.

Can’t forget the drink tags.

Oh hi Mindy!

tags had little diamonds attached.

Dying for these black chandeliers for my house.

For some reason although for breakfast we used ole school cafeteria trays, the awesome custom tray mats made everything look so pretty!

Even the milk cartons had style.

Custom Yogurt Parfait’s are a must!

Bag’s for the chip bar. You cannot even imagine how much of a hit this was!

Randy looking as dapper as ever.

this guys must have been terrified of my lack of makeup! Celebrity Eyelash Guru Ja’Maal Buster made everyone a celebrity that day.

My sister from another mutha! Dana from the Broke Ass Bride clearly had the best shades in the house.  I was secretly hoping that Fresh Hubby would break out in his Will Smith rap, no dice.IMG_0874

Mindy was having a true Oprah moment and gave out gifts to the audience every hour.IMG_0876  IMG_0877

Interactive Stations: Milk and Cookie Bar

We are so excited to bring you a new addition to the interactive stations category – milk and cookies!  Perfect for showers or even a late night pick up me up after a dance party reception.  I encourage you to have fun with these stations and incorporate ideas that are unique and favorites of yours.  Maybe it is a cookie recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation, a dessert that you have shared as a couple, or just the cookies you enjoy during some down time.  Chances are if you love it, your guests will too!

Interactive Stations – The Cookie Bar

What makes any kind of interactive station ideal is that 60% of the time your guests have never seen anything like it before. Naturally when I saw this cookie bar on Project Wedding I knew I had to share with my readers.  There are so many ways to take this idea and make it your own.  Consider the following when creating your own cookie bar:

  • Get together with your family and friends and bake cookies that have been passed down for generations
  • Pick sweets that you share with your love ones, then share with your guests
  • Visit a local shop that will be able to customize a new flavor that represent your new union

If you are looking for more interactive stations, check out our posts on s’mores, popcorn and even cupcakes!

Interactive Station: Marshmallow Bar

Loving this image that I found on my good friend Melissa from Masterpiece Weddings blog. It shows great potential of incorporating marshmallow’s at your event elegant and classy. I just think that anything that is placed in Apothecary jars just always looks stunning.  Consider having these jars filled with marshmallow’s with a cup of heart chocolate or ready to be displayed in a s’mores bar!

Interactive Stations – Cupcake Bar

The reason why we love interactive stations so much is because it gets your guests active and makes them feel that the event was really created all for them. I came across these images while looking for a new project.

You can get various flavors of cupcakes made, place them on a tower of your choice then provide a variety of flavors. Flavors can include sprinkles, chocolate shavings, sugar crystal, and the list goes on and on.

What kind of toppings would you include?

Interactive Stations: S’mores Bar

It is always a great idea to introduce new concepts at your event.  After all who does not want an event that is considered memorable?  Having interactive stations such as the various bars whether it is a mash potatoes, candy, popcorn or cereal bar, it is a great way to get your guests out of their seats and participate in the festivities.

When I came across these pictures from a s’mores bar that was done at a wedding, I thought how fun! Maybe you and your spouse are big campers, why not invite your guests to one of your favorite past times.

After your successful s’more bar, go a step further and send you guests home with their own s’mores kit that they can enjoy at home. I am all about edible favors since chances are your guests will likely eat them.
