Back in September we had the privilege of planning the wedding of Melissa and Patrick. The couple were both located in Washington, D.C. but choose to have their nuptials in the hometown of Melissa here in Atlanta. Melissa wanted the ceremony to take place in the newly redesigned amphitheater at Callanwolde Fine Arts center, but after a week of the flooding here in Atlanta, the rain could not stay away.
The ring bearer and flower girl were just absolutely adorable and actually stole the show from Melissa and Patrick.
Since the rain did not hold up we moved the ceremony indoors had held the nuptials on the grand steps of Callanwolde in front of their family and friends.
Lighted lanterns hung from the reception ballroom.
One of the bridesmaids actually flew in from Japan with a thousand cranes that we incorporated into the decor.
The reason why the couple choose Callanwolde is not only the venue beautiful but Melissa actually went there for dance lessons. I loved how they incorporated something meaningful into their big day.
Thank you to all the vendors that helped make this day spectacular:
