Many magazines are now taking the opportunity to have their magazines produced as an online magazine affectionately called a E-zine. There are two great ones out there right now that offer great eye candy and content.
First up is Utterly Engaged which I believe is the only wedding e-zine available right now (I am sure we will see many more in the future). Filled with tons of wedding eye candy UE is not only brings you cutting edge up to date content, but also has links to their back issues.
Next up is Lonny. With many major home interior design magazines now defunct. Lonny will serve to fill that gap with their e-zine. What I love about this one is that there are so many items in there that ignites creativity that I can use for future events.
This does not mean PRINT is dead. There is still some serious real weddings and decor that I must have in my hands to fully enjoy!
As the old saying goes, what goes around comes around. That saying can be true for the new wedding trends that have been emerging. We have seen bows, lace and even ruffles resurface. Check out these ruffle gowns as well as cakes.
From the runways of the Special Event Show to the tablescape design challenges hosted by NACE, one item that was sure to be present in the design are domed pedstal dishes.
Adding much more than a way to serve your desert, these beauties can serve as the focal point to your event. In an array of colors and shapes and sizes, they can even be reused after the main event has taken place. Here are some of our faves. You’ve probably seen them on shows like Whose Wedding Is It Anyway and My Fair Wedding, and we think they just may be popping up at an event near you! Strolling tables feature real people in various costumes adorned with a table. Want a little POP for your event? Have a strolling table to pass out hors d’oeuvres or desserts and interact with your guests. It’s sure to leave them talking!
