It is always a great idea to introduce new concepts at your event. After all who does not want an event that is considered memorable? Having interactive stations such as the various bars whether it is a mash potatoes, candy, popcorn or cereal bar, it is a great way to get your guests out of their seats and participate in the festivities.
When I came across these pictures from a s’mores bar that was done at a wedding, I thought how fun! Maybe you and your spouse are big campers, why not invite your guests to one of your favorite past times.

After your successful s’more bar, go a step further and send you guests home with their own s’mores kit that they can enjoy at home. I am all about edible favors since chances are your guests will likely eat them.

fabulous idea! so much fun!
I ADORE this idea. I look forward to recommending it to my clients.
We had an interactive smores station at a recent beach wedding featuring a variety of cabana cuisine. The station was a huge hit with the guests, and was one of many interactive stations offered.
The smores bar was VERY cool. Cupcakes are so 2009 🙂
Thank you so much for the link!

Do you have any how-to on building the station? I am drawing a blank as to how to build something like this.

Hey Sarah, Sorry I do not but it looks pretty simple. I am sure the fire is the little cans they place under chaffing dishes with some rocks around it. Those silver thongs are most likely BBQ sticks that can be found at the dollar store.
