The wonderful Katy Carrier will bring her know how to the Atlanta area for a full day workshop for us Atlantans to make sure our contracts and paperwork in in order! I asked Katy to provide a bit more information as to what one can expect from attending the workshop and here is what she had to say:
It’s a day-long workshop taking place at the Melia hotel on Wednesday, September 28th. The workshop covers issues like contracts, trademarks, employment law (independent contractors and interns), LLC’s and corporations, copyrights, and social media law. Your workshop registration also comes with a client contract prepared specifically for you. The client contract includes one-on-one attorney consultation, and you get it within a few weeks after your workshop date.
The attorney presenting the workshop is Katy Carrier, who is a former wedding and event planner. She has a law firm that specializes in services for wedding and event professionals called Carrier & Associates, and is a speaker at industry conferences like Engage!, The Special Event and BizBash.
